Description
Product Overview
The DeWalt DCL050 is a versatile handheld LED work light (torch). Unlike the smaller DCL040 (flashlight) which has a focused beam, this tool features 3 bright LEDs arranged to provide a broader “flood” of light for illuminating large work areas. It has a pivoting head and a telescoping hook for hands-free use.

Key Features
Variable Brightness: A trigger switch allows you to toggle between Low (500 lumens) for extended runtime and High (1000 lumens) for maximum visibility.
140° Pivoting Head: The head pivots significantly more than standard flashlights, allowing you to set it on the floor and angle the light almost straight up or down.
Telescoping Hook: A built-in hook extends from the top of the handle, allowing you to hang the light from overhead pipes or framing.
Broad Beam: The 3-LED configuration creates a wide area light, perfect for painting, drywall, or automotive work where you need to see a whole section of a wall or engine bay.
Common Use Cases
This is widely considered one of the best “area lights” in the DeWalt system. It is perfect for power outages, camping, automotive repair, and working in attics or crawlspaces where you need to light up a whole room rather than just a single spot.
Again, I apologize for the earlier confusion.
